Bio
Born and raised in Harlem, New York, Sam Wilson was an intelligent and adventurous child who possessed a great affinity for birds. Later, after excelling at the top of his class at S.H.I.E.L.D., a chance encounter with the legendary Captain America brought out his inner hero. When the call came for him to join the Avengers, Sam didn’t hesitate – he donned a high-tech winged harness and took to the skies as the high-flying Falcon.
